Emergency Services (Trauma Level IV)

Emergencies can happen at any time and Starr County Memorial Hospital has an Emergency Department to provide the community members with services 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The emergency room provides immediate care for all ages. We are a Level IV Trauma designated facility and strive in providing the most current health care. If a patient requires admission to a hospital, our hospital will arrange all aspects related to the admission or transfer if a higher level of care is required. Our Emergency Room has a triage system that ensures patients do not have long wait times to be treated. We also offer a 24 hour laboratory testing, radiographs, CT Scans, and sonography. Patients seeking emergency care are encouraged not to drive themselves to the emergency room.
